About Proguard

Glass mat sheathing board for use as a external sheathing within weatherproof façade constructions

MADA ProGuard is a glass mat sheathing board designed for use as a non-load-bearing external sheathing board within weatherproof façade constructions. It features a treated gypsum core with coated fibreglass mat facings, providing strength, moisture resistance and fire performance behind external cladding systems.

As a glass mat sheathing board, MADA ProGuard is intended for use behind drained and ventilated rainscreen cladding, within steel frame wall systems, SFS infill applications, and external ceiling or soffit constructions. It can be left exposed to weather for a limited period during construction, providing flexibility on site.

MADA ProGuard carries a declared A1 reaction to fire classification within the assessed façade scenario and is supported by independent certification. It is not a finished surface and must not be used as a nail base for cladding, instead forming part of a complete, designed external wall system.
